ARAW NG SANTA CRUZAN Rey de Paz

Ang Santa Cruzan ay minana pa natin mula sa mga dayuhang sumakop sa atin ng mahigit Tatlong daang taon. Ginaganap ang Santa Cruzan taon-taon sa iba´t ibang panig ng mundo saan man naroon ang mga Pinoy.    Masasaksihan ninyo ang Santa Cruzan dito sa Berlin sa bawat buwan ng Hunyo sa pamamagitan ng orihinal na kasuutan ng mga gumaganap na tinatawag itong Filipiniana para sa mga kababaihan at ang pambasang kasuutan ng mga Filipino na tinatawag nating Barong Tagalog na katerno ng mga Arkong bitbit ng mga konsorte na may iba´t ibang palamuti. Ang Reyna Elena 2012, Ms. Melissa Pilapil, ay may pinaka importanteng role sa parada ng Santa Cruzan.    This year's Fiesta sa Nayon, 17 June 2012, was organized by the Pastoral Team through the coordination of the Loved Flock Community as the Hermana Mayor and grand sponsor. Filipinos once again gathered in Bayernallee 28, Tahanang Pinoy, to celebrate the Santa Cruzan feastivity. One can feel the real Filipino atmosphere where you can eat different Filipino delicacies, home-made by Aling Betty and Rebecca, like Pálabok, Siopao, Pancit, Halo-halo, Adobo. And, of course, the food is savored with the satisfaction of drinking

our very own San Miguel Beer sabayan pa ng Philippine folk musics and Chikahang Katakut-takot enjoyed with the camaraderie of our Kababayans from Berlin and neighboring districts. Contributing to the success of Fiesta sa Nayon was the additional coordination of the Philippine Embassy Berlin headed by our beloved H. E. Ambassador Cleofe R. Natividad. Her two lovely daughters participated in the entire traditional procession proudly showing their Filipiniana costumes.    Right after the holy mass, leaders of the Philippine Community awarded Ms. Christine Leyva a bouquet as an appreciation for her dedicated service to the community. After so many years living in Berlin, she is moving her new residence to Canada.    The community was honored by the visit of Fr. Raul Caga, SVD who gave some song performances during the program. Fr. Caga was in Berlin as part of his concert tour in Germany.    We welcome everyone to Bayernallee not only during the Santa Cruzan celebration but also in other community activities. Mabuhay!
